What Vetted is, and who builds it.
Vettedis an Indian compliance-policy platform that drafts company documents - POSH, Data Privacy (DPDPA), Code of Conduct, NDA, Shareholders' Agreement and 5 others - directly from current Indian statute. Every clause carries an inline citation to the specific Section of the relevant Act, so a labour inspector or statutory auditor can trace the source without guesswork.
We don't replace lawyers. We replace the first 80% of the drafting work - the rote, statute-mapped scaffolding - so your lawyer's time goes into the 20% that actually needs judgment. For most companies that's the difference between a six-week engagement and a one-week sign-off.
Why we built it
Indian compliance is a moving target. The Maternity Benefit Act was amended in 2017 to expand leave from 12 to 26 weeks. POSH constituted Internal Committees in 2013 with a mandatory external member that most templates still omit. DPDPA was notified in 2023 and replaces the Information Technology Rules 2011 - but the older language still appears in "industry-standard" policy templates floating around the internet.
The cost of getting it wrong isn't hypothetical. A non-compliant POSH policy is the first thing a labour inspector or sexual-harassment complainant's counsel reaches for. A 12-week maternity clause in 2026 invites the kind of employment-tribunal exposure that small-company HR teams aren't built to handle.
We built Vetted to take that worry off the table for HR / Ops teams at small-to-mid Indian companies - without the ₹30k–₹50k ticket of a full lawyer-drafted engagement.
How it works
Two-model verification. Each policy is drafted by a leading large-language model under a tightly-scoped Indian-law system prompt, then independently audited by a second model that checks every statutory citation against the actual Section of the named Act. Critical or major issues trigger a revision pass.
Multi-State aware.The intake asks for your registered-office State and primary workplace State; clauses that differ across India's State Shops & Establishments Acts, stamp duty schedules, and Professional Tax slabs are scoped accordingly.
Audit-trail by default. Every generated pack includes a Statutory Source Map annexure that lists each clause number against its source Act, Section and the date the model verified it. If a referenced Act is later amended, the freshness check flags the affected packs in your account.
